just looked on my phone he has sent 43 txt msg's today begging me to forgive him, he wants to sleep at my house tonight must think am a complete moron, am stoppin me sisters dont want him turning up on the doorstep and starting

i feel in limbo at the moment but strangly calm, and thats unlike me

can i just add what happened to me a few years back my oh turned to drink badley and on a few occissions he did hit me and the police did get called alot out.

i took it for a few years then i left him took the kids and sold the house although we did get back together again and i told him if u want to be with me u have to change and he did he stopped drinking and the shouting now 2 years on from that we live in seprate houses but he has never lifted his hand to me again nor has he turned to drink again although he does have a few which i dont c as its his house but i dont allow him to drink in my house.

im not taking sides here i just know what its like maybe having a chat with him and asking him to change and maybe even stop drinking he might agree belive me men dont relise untill its gone then they regret it.

if you love him and he loves you then maybe its worth fighting for but only if he makes changes.

thanks taylor we have tried over the past 3 years he moved out for a year last year, he moved back in with me 11 weeks ago and he has had 2 of his weird little episodes, my family are scared (especially me sister) that he may do something more serious one day, i have really tried but apart from driving my into the ground it affecting LO he keeps screaming and shouting all the time, i really wish we could make it work but this has been my final straw

he just wont ever change he has chosen drink over me and LO AGAIN

souns like u have done the right thing hun your family r clearly concerned and you have a child so i understand why u have done what u have done xx

only thing i can say to that is get him out and dont take him back he isnt willing to change and its not good for ur son.

i remeber the heartache my kids went through and it wasnt nice he used to make my eldest lie and say he hadnt been drinking when he had i would find them in the bin outside.

im really sorry but dont take him back just think of ur son you will be fine.

will you allow ur son to c his dad,

when i split from mine i refused and to be honest i know my kids are older then ur boy but it hurt my kids so much not seeing there dad that i agreed to it.
