1. When u came off the pill did u stop taking it or did u go see the nurse?

2. Would u feel hurt if your partner said that buying pregnancy tests was a daft idea?

3. OK now the really stupid one.... can someone explain the 2ww thng? I know it tad early fir me but it confuses me lol.

1) I just went off the pill
2) Stan told me the same thing which was in hindsight a good thing, kept me from testing prior to a late AF....
3) 2WW is the two weeks post-ovulation (or two weeks before you're due AF) of course this can vary depending on when you ovulate or how long your cycle is....but it is the wait between ovulation and AF

I for one dont tell my hubby when I test or not at least every time! He would die if he knew how much I spend on pee sticks! HAHA

I just stopped taking the BCP
I don't tell my OH when I test. (and I've tested a lot)
2ww is the time between OV and AF when you desperately hope you are pregnant, but can't do anything but wait and test (often way too early even if you were pregnant)

Hi,

I was on the implant so had to go to see the nurse to have it removed, but all she asked was if I wanted any other contraception and when I said no cos we were going to start TTC, she didn't give me any advice, just said goodluck. So no, don't think there is any need to see the nurse.

I don't tell my OH when I test either, but I don't feel too bad about it as I buy my tests of ebay at a fraction of the cost of the shop ones, so not wasting loads of money!

As the others have already said, the TTW is the time between ovulation and next af. When I first started trying I found this website: http://ibabydust.com/tools/ovulation_calendar/
it isn't as good as temping or using OPK's, but at least gives you an idea of what might be going on!!

hey hun i have been off my pill a year now and i didnt see my gp before hand i just came off it. and as for your second question i wud feel a lil annoyed at him as when ttc its natural to want to buy them.
the 2ww is the time between ovulation and your next af due date this is called the lutheal phase hope this helps hun good luk sending u baby dust

Found you

1. I just stopped the pill and binned them no need to see anyone.

2. I just wouldnt say when im testing, plus men dont really understand when it comes to ttc

3. 2ww the length of time between ovulation and af, though its not always 14 days for everyone thats just the average. My 2ww was 12 days.

Men can be morons at times! My husband is sort of the same. Except he is so uneducated about the process that I told him a pregnancy test is a necessity and he just trusted me. haha kind of a don't ask-don't tell policy, the less he knows the better!!!
I'm pretty sure he just wants to hear about when I'm pregnant, not all the hairy details in between, that's why we have these forums!! Us women must stick together!!!

About BC I just stopped taking them, I still have four months worth of pills in my top drawer because the pharmacy kept automatically filling my perscription.

I think the other ladies did a great job of answering the last question.
