Newbie!

Hi, I'm new to this forum, and haven't quite worked my way around yet.

It all seems really confusing about how to work out your best dates for "whoopee" and the more I read, the worse it seems to get.

I have only had one AF (see, I'm learning the lingo) since I came off the pill. I was one of the ones who never bled while on the pill, so haven't had an AF for about 5 years!

So as of yet, I don't know how long my cycle is. And I'm new to all the cycle stuff anyways! I haven't bought any equipment as we figured we would just go with the flow for now, but have tried working out the best dates. So far, we have "done it" on days 11, 14, 15, 16 and 17 of my cycle. Today is day 18. Can we stop now for a bit? I'm exhausted Am I officially in the 2WW?

I have been looking at charts and it goes on about "mucus." I don't seem to have any, or if I do, I don't know what I'm looking for. Am I abnormal?

No it took me a while until i got my hear round it, until your cycles even themself out it might be a bit difficult for you to work out when your ovulating at the mo. As soon as you know how long your cycles are you will have a better idea of when your ovulating.

I don't do all the temping and charting stuff just go by my cycle but lots of the other girls on here may be able to give you more advice on that stuff.

Good luck TTC and welcome to BnB!!!

Welcome to B&B!

As was said in a PP, once you know how long your cycles are then you'll have a better idea of when you o'ed. I O usually around cd17-18, but my cycles are about 32 days long. If you want to start temping or using OPKs lots of people are here to help.

GL on your TTC journey!

Welcome to B&B!
Good luck with TTC baby.
Charting your temp can give you a better indication of when you are going to O so you can time the BD better. (Bd=Babydance/intercourse).
If you don't want to go to all of the trouble, invest in a "maybe baby" scope, it can show you when you are coming up to ovulation, without having to record all the results. It's a little microscope, and you can probably pick one up easily on ebay.

Best of luck!
