Ok, so yesterday I had 2 positive tests. Faint lines, but definitely positive. Went to the Dr. office today and they did a urine test, which came back negative! Aaaaah! They drew blood for my HCG count and will call me later today. I sure hope that blood tests confirms my BFP's!!!! I just took another test and it showed positive, with a faint line. I am only 5 days late so may that's why!? I'm freaking out!!!!!! Has this happened to you or do you know anyone this happened to??? My friend told me she went thru the same thing but I need more confirmation that I am actually prego. Any advice?

my experience isnt exactly the same ,i hadnt done home pregnancy tests but i had a bloodtest and it was negative my HCG was 0.4 and i was actually pregnant!! when i did my home pregnancy test, a week later - i was a few days late they were positive.

I know that sometimes the tests that the doctor's offices use aren't as sensitive as the tests you can buy on the market now.

The blood test will confirm.

When one of my BFs was pg she had very faints lines, went to the doctor and her test there was the same...they had to hold the test up to the lights to see the second line! But her blood work came back as BFP, and she now hs her DD.

GL! Wait for the blood work. It will tell you for sure. (Are the lines getting darker on your tests?)

Sorry I've no real advice for you, just try to keep thinking positive huni, 3 tests can't be wrong surely. I'm sure like you said it's probably because you're only a few days late

I hope everything turns out good for you, its a good sign that your still getting faint positives on the tests. Their test just might not have read as much HCG as the ones you have do.

As was said, the tests at the Dr's office are usually not very sensitive at all - having to be like a week late for your period to get a positive.

Your home tests sound really positive, i'm sure the blood tests will prove your BFP!!!

i'm going 2 the doctors 2moro and i'm scared that will happen 2 me i'm only 5day later and i've tested 5 time and all BFP but i scared that will happen i was saying that 2 my OH last night, i sure if will be fine that doctors 4 you haveing cheap stuff lol, keep us update how long til u get them?

I get my results later this afternoon. I'm just scared to death to hear the doc say that the blood tests show too low of an HCG level for me to be prego. The lines are all the same darkness- not very dark, but there is indeed a line! Not an evap line at all. I will post pictures of my latest test soon, hopefully....

I hope it's good news, it does sound promising. I was just wondering about the lines because if they are getting progressively darker (from faint onwards) it's a good sign. But it takes a couple of days for your hormones to double so if it's only been a day or two of testing it will take awhile for the line to darken.
