My friend just told me she’s pregnant and her symptoms were …

… not liking the taste of wine (4 weeks into cycle) and feeling exhausted. But she said otherwise, she just thought she was getting a visit from AF cos she got all the usual AF symptoms.

Also she fell PG when she decided to stop trying! She’d been trying for about 5 months and the month she fell, her and the hubby decided to give it a break so only BD’d 2-3 times in one month and that was it – she fell PG!!! x

That sounds just like me. I got pregnant the month I gave up and didn't worry about it and my only early symptoms before I tested were feeling very tired and getting dizzy. Other than that I felt like my AF was coming but I normally get v bad pains the day it starts and that didn't happen. I just figured it was going to be late but I tested anyway and got a BFP. That month we didn't BD ad much was usual either.

Hi Trixie I'm on day 22 of my cycle too! Congrats to your friend. YOu think there is any chance she was pg from the month before when she was actually trying? hehe. Either way that is still awesome.

She basically decided to stop 'properly trying' ('trying' to her meant tracking when she's ovulating with an OPK and BDing every other day) in October. She'd had enough of it and I remember her telling me that too. She 'conceived' late October! They only BD'd 2/3 times that month! She said that nature plays funny tricks on us gals!!! They'd actually booked a holiday to some exotic place early next year and decided to properly try then and were gonna start using contrception again in Nov and Dec! And now they've had to cancel it! I cried when she told me, am so happy for her. She desperately wants me to fall now so we can be PG together. I did feel nausous this morning, badly so, but I would only be 7dpo so shouldn't really be feeling that kind of symptom yet. x

Then it would be true saying that we should stop thinking and stressing about TTC bec it helps conceiving.

Lol I've heard that from so many parents, and i've been told to "stop trying so hard" so many times I can't even count!! Congratulations to your friend....I've sometimes thought about just stopping...but my damn obsession about becoming a mum wont let me ! lol
