Hey girls,


I tested last night on clearblue and got BFP its wasnt really dark but i could see a cross so i was really happy, but i tested this morning with a cheap one and i got BFN so now i dont know what 2 think i was really happy now i dont know, i still havent come on yet and this is only my 3rd day late,

any one have any ideas should i try with a clear blue again or see my doctor ??

test again using a clearblue the cheap test might not be sensitive enough to detect hcg

Sometimes when you test the HCG hormone just hasn't built up enough to be easily detected which is maybe why you only got a faint line on the clearblue test. The original Clearblue is well known for being more sensitive than most other tests so the other one probably just wasn't stong enough. Since the level of HCG rises daily I'd get another original clearblue and test when you haven't done a wee for a while and haven't had too much to drink because it can water it down.

If it's still negative then you should see a doctor because unfortunatly when that happens it can be a very early m/c and they're very common.

wow if that was me I would definately test again with a CB digital. I mean if you got a BFP from CB and a neg from cheapie then that is a cool sign hun! So test again with CB digital and then go to docs so you will know asap. You must be really excited and/ or confused at the moment.

I agree with the others, I would test again, with a test that it is more sensitive, there might not be enough of the HCG hormone yet for the cheapy test to pick up. Plus I've always heard that false positives are almost unheard of, so a positive is a positive. Good luck!!

yeah, I've heard that a positive is a positive, and a negative could be wrong, too. I would definitally buy a test and try again. With mine, I bought a cheapy and got a BFN, but then bought the CB digital (2 pack.. hehe), and got a "Pregnant" with both, and REALLY fast.

Congrats!! I use cheapies only since I POAS way too much lately but they are supposedly early detectors. I think you can just go by the amount of HCG lvls that they are sensitive to? I'm so excited for you! Keep us posted.
