After ovulation your body produces progesterone (sp?) which causes a rise in your body temperature (also makes a nice comfy womb lining). If a pregnancy occurs the progesterone levels remain high as does your temp. If there is no pregnancy then levels drop - together with your temp and your period starts. If you look at my chart you can see that temp levels are higher after the line that indicates ovulation - they started to go down a couple of days ago - hence period is most lightly on the way!!! I think thats it - roughly speaking!! | ||

I want to hear a FOR SURE  from you!! how exciting!!!Me, on the other hand, got a  this morning...the day AF is due. However I'm still pretty positive as I see no sign of AF, no spotting or anything (which I usually get the night before). I'm also pretty hopefuly because (sorry if tmi) my cervix is very HIGH! Could barely find it this morning! and I hear that's a good sign. Plus I felt like a was going to throw up all afternoon and I usually have a very strong stomach (probably have only puked twice in the last decade - both from drinking!)... ANYWAY, I'm hoping there wasn't enough hcg in my system yet...it could be true, right???? Need some reassurance here!!! Good luck testing tomorrow Laura lou!!! I'm rooting for ya girl!!! |
