Newbie with post coil removal prob

Hi gals

I am new to TTC, I was all excited about joining this forum but now im feeling a bit pooh to be honest.

I had my mirena coil removed June 17th. I came out relatively painless and since then I have only had spotting for a few days then nothing. The only thing I am concerned about is, everytime my DH and I are intimate (as we are trying for a second baby) and I later go to the bathroom I find I am bleeding. Its only literally for a minute then goes away completely, but this has happened every time post coil removal. Has anyone else ever experienced this? Im wondering all sorts, but hoping its just some sort of trauma from having coil removed and not anything worse.

Thanks

xxxx

I've had coils removed before and never noticed any problems. But they were just straight coils - I think the mirena has hormones in it doesn't it?

I wonder whether it's just a symptom of the hormones leaving your body?

Maybe check with your GP to make sure.

I used to get this periodically whilst I still had my mirena in but seemed to get better once I had it removed, I also fell immediatley pregnant after having it removed. Aslong as your bleeding isn't followed with pain I wouldn't be too concerned if anything its a good sign that the hormone is coming away from your body. Definatley check with your doctor though if your worried. hope this helps xx

Thanks for your replies, i asked my aunt earlier and she thinks she remember having the same prob years ago with hers. I suppose the coil is embedded in wall of womb after some time so removal prob also would cause a little trauma leaving things a little sensitive... at least I hope thats all it is xxxx
