quick question about activites during 2ww

hi ladies, silly question but i just want to know what you would do. it's snowing like crazy over here and oh just called and wants to go sledging with some friends when he has finished work. i'm not sure if i should go, is it possible that i could dislodge the sticky bean if there is one there? i know when you go go-karting is says you shouldn't if you are pg. the place we go sledging is really bumpy and you get thrown about all over the place. do you think that could cause harm to the bean?

i know this is ridiculous as my common sense is telling me not to go but just wanted to see what you would do?

thanks ladies

My cousin told me that her little bean survived alot of amusement park rides and half a martini when she was pregnant (and didn't know it yet). I'm sure sledding won't harm anything!

I don't know hun! If your gut is telling you not to go, then don't go.

In pregnancy, you shouldn't do anything that your body isn't used to. For example, I ride my horses most days and if I choose can continue this into pregnancy, but if someone who wasn't used to riding started riding when they were preg, then it is more dangerous - i'm not talking falling off, I mean the lot.

The bean/embryo/baby is so well protected in there so it is really hard to say! I know of plenty of women who have a fall and the baby has been ok, but i'm sure there are the opposite stories out there.

Have fun whatever you decide to do and stay safe

if you are pregnant the embryo wouldn't be out of the fallopian tubes yet, so it can't unattach if it isn't already attched, it won't leave the fallopian tubes til 7-9 days post ovulation....I say go for it and have fun!

If your comfortable with it, go. I'm sure all you can think about during 2ww is the end of cycle, and testing. This at least will be something really fun to do, and take your mind off of it for a little while. And just be a little cautious. =)
