Exclamation

thrush treatment?

i unfortunately have had thrush twice in the last 6 months and i think i might have it again. Im not in pain(i dont tend to get that when i have it). But it feels like inside is itchy or swoolen or something and it is starting to do my head in, only started to feel like this anyway. Ive got the flu at the mo and i know your more prone to get i when your run down. Ive also had slight spotting light pink/light brown for the last 4 days in cm. I think it might be implantation as ive never had any spotting mid cycle. Anyways basically down there isnt normal at the moment and i was wondering has anyone had any of these symptoms before? I think its prob thrush but could it be anything else?

Also doea anyone know if the cream or tablets or the tablets/creams you insert inside (canesten) are ok for use in pregnancy? (just incase i am pregnant dont want to do any harm).

Every time my friend got pregnant (which has been 4 times), she found that getting thrush each time was actually one of her symptoms, so fingers crossed for you!

natural remedies are douching in salt water, you have to get the salt water right up inside so fill the sink, sit right in it and splash up. another method is natural yoghurt, the one with 'live bacteria' or sometimes it's called cultures. i've read you can dip a tampon into the yoghurt and put the tampon in for a bit. i;ve never tried this to you may want to google it first for how long etc

Drinking cranberry juice is supposed to be good for it as well.

Ooooh - it would be really exciting if it was down to implantation! Good luck getting a BFP!
