BFP ladies!!!!
AF was due for me yesterday. I tested tonight and got a BFN. This could be due to the fact that I let my tests sit in my car for hours in 20 degree F weather . I live in the cold state of MN- burrr! The tests say they should be stored at 36-86 degree Farenheit.

Anyway, I'll get back to my intended question(s): How long after AF was due did you get your BFP? Did you test prior to then and get a BFN?

Any input to share about this (about a friend or fam member) even if you haven't gotten a BFP?

Like I said, I tested today (not FMU) and got my BFN but I'm keeping my hopes up that AF doesn't show up and that I get a BFP still. P.S. I'm about 14-16 dpo so shouldn't I get a BFP no matter what if I am pregnant?

I got my BFP 5 days after I expected AF to arrive, tested with FMU Saturday, Sunday and Monday and got BFN's, didn't test Tuesday and tested Wednesday with FMU and got my BFP.

If you are late then one would think you should get a BFP if you are preg. Fmu is best! So test again tomorrow or in a few days. I tested twice, once today and once on Thurs (?) and got BFNs. I don't know what dpo I am at but AF is due on X-mas and I am on CD23, so I am sure it is really too early to tell. I am just impatient hehe. I wish I could give ya info about an experience with a BFP!

i'd wait a couple more days, i know how difficult but a bfn is sooo disappointing. maybe wait until tuesday and then test with fmu.

AF due Sept 15th. Test the 11th, BFN. Tested the 14th BFP!

Good luck getting your BFP! There are some women on this site who have not got there BFP till well after AF is due. I think Finlay's Mom got her one about a week and a bit after.

I think it is not so much down to how many days post ovulation you are but when implantation occured. Implantation can occur anything from 4/5 to around 10 days post ovulation. Then after implantation, your body has to build up enough hcg to register on a pregnancy test (some only test at 50 miu) and some women only get around 50 miu after being pregnant for a good few days.

I think its all a waiting game. Hope2beamommy and I were on the same cycle last month and we both were testing and got BFN's every day until AF was about 4 days late. She then got her BFP! and I got AF. So I guess it just depends...
