Mix up in ovulation??

I've been tracking my CM and on mymonthlycycles.com for ovulation in order to avoid it. I went off my BC pills in September, and I went from a regulated 28 day cycle to a 29 day cycle, although I'm not entirely sure if I'm back on track yet(according to mymonthlycycles). It says that I was supposed to have ovulated on the 8th, and I ended up having sex on the 10th (oops!). However, I hadn't really noticed any difference in my CM. On the 11th, I had a LITTLE bit of EWCM, so I'm sort of freaking out right now. Did I ovulate on the 8th or did it happen on the 11th? Was that new EWCM or was it just left over from a few days before??

Also, how likely is it that I could have gotten pregnant if it was on the 8th?

Are you tracking anything other than CM? I just temp so I am probably not the best person to answer this...but if you did O on the 8th and BDed on the 10th, well, it's possible.
Eggs live 24-36 hours (can't remember the exact number of hours...but think that's about right), and sperm can live anywhere up to 5 days depending on different things. Sorry, don't know the specifics.
And if you did O on the 11th, there may be a better chance as they always say to BD before I rather than after....but also keep in mind that every cycle even if you time everything right there's only a 25% that you will conceive.

and hope it all turns out for you.

(And please, if I am wrong on any of this, someone please correct me!)

This is very true. EWCM is designed molecularly not only to encourage sperm to motile to the egg, but to 'feed' sperm and allow it to live longer.

Regular CM (creamy, sticky etc.) discourage sperm from being motile and is a different Ph then EWCM which actually can harm sperm.
