I'm Currently Feeling: | taking opks and bding! Hi everyone! Just got back from out of town and wanted to share what has been going on. I have been using opks all last week (during which I believe I should have been ovulating) but the opks didn't help out too much. I couldn't take them around the same time everyday so I took one in the morning and one mid afternoon. The morning opk always said positive and the later one always said negative. So that didn't help. Has anyone ever read or heard of not taking opks in the morning???? So I never had a definite surge pin pointed.
So my DH and I bding everyday since 12/2 (Sunday). I have had mild cramping on/off and twinges the past couple days. A little tiny bit of spotting on Weds...that was lightish brown/dark red and tiny bits of bright streaks when I whipped on Weds and Thurs. I really don't know what to think...could all this be ovulation pains? Or something else?
Hope all have been well and I am anxious to read how everyone has been! |

| the difference result is probably because the morning the pee is more concentrated so can detect your hormones, by the afternoon and you have something drink it will be more diluted so the test may not pick up the hormones. you've had lots of bd so you should be good for this month

I'm Currently Feeling: | I thought fmu would be best but oh well. Nothing I can do at this point. Maybe the tests weren't any good...who knows. I am still going to use them just to see.....I have some different ones this time, as the others ran out.
Thanks I hope so too!!! I am trying not to hyper focus on my body's every discomfort. YEAH I hope I am good for the month too I just hope that we didn't bd too early and that I am not having ovulation pains. I think I have been having them normally for the past few months but since I don't know my O time...it is really uncertain. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Yay, you're back!!!
My O tests used to say not to test with fmu as it might give a positive reading when its not positive. I used to take mine around 10am after i'd been up for a good 3 hours.
Your symptoms sound really postive though, so I have everything crossed that this is your BFP |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I agree...the insert never said anything about fmu...and I was testing around 10 am but couldn't while I was away....oh well, live and learn right! I will still take opks just to be safe |

| actually that makes sense as this month i o'd on day 10 which i thought was really early so i started to temp to see if i really did o. my temp only went up a little bit today (day 13) so maybe the opk was a bit premature on day 10 and o'd on day 12 instead. anyway, i'm giving up opk's and going back to au naturel next month (ok i may temp ever now and then just to confirm i o'd!) |

| Hmmmm, the signs do sound promising. It sounds like you might've OV'd day 10-12 of your cycle, in which case you'd be getting symptoms around about now.
I started using OPKs this cycle but gave up after 3 days. Reason being that I've been getting ALL the symptoms of ovulating (I get sharp pains when OV time and lots of gloopy CM - tmi! - and this usually happens day 13/14 of a 28-day cycle which makes sense). And yet my OPK didn't suggest that I was OVing. This has taught me to trust my body signals more. So I don't think I'll not bother with them again for a while. BUT I think they're useful for people with irregular cycles who don't get symptoms. x |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I am starting to agree with you too TrixieLox. However, this cycle I have had hardly any cm at all....which I have had in the past. So it makes it hard to tell...ARGHA! hehe. I do agree with you, trust your body and it's consistences. |
