| BBT charting I started taking my temperature this month, but its with a normal thermometer thats read in C not F. Anyway, i just want to understand it all a bit more. I had a few dips in it, one of which i think is ovulation, well from the OPK's and CM i would have thought so, but im not sure about the rest of the cycle. I've tried looking on the internet but i can't seem to find info that makes sense. Any ideas? | | | | Status: Offline

| Hi Kyra,
Ovulation wont necessarily give you a dip in your temps but after you have ovulated what you will see is that your temperatures go up. Once your temperatures have been up for three consecutive days that will confirm you have ovd.
If you are using OPKs you should find that you will actually ov a day or two later at which time your temp will go up.
Check out my charts (FF Charts in my signature below), I use Fertility Friend to help me.
Hope that helps x
PS it doesn't matter if you are temping in C or F but a thermometer that records to two decimal places is best. | | | | Status: Offline
