BFP with Retroverted/Tilted Uterus

Hey guys I posted this on the December list, but I thought that some of you might miss it and my tip might help!

I tested early - I'm impatient. Yesterday I got faint lines and this morning a day before AF is due I did a Clearblue digital and saw that wonderful word - 'Pregnant'.

Just wanted to let anyone out there who has a retroverted or tilted uterus/cervix know that we did something different this time and in fact I remembered that we had done it in month 1 when the egg caught then too - after sex you need to lie face/tummy down with your bum way up in the air for 15-45mins or alternatively, do some kind of manouvre that would mean you're in a position like standing on your head. It's not very comfortable, and for that reason I guess I didn't do it the other 2 months! My mum also has a retroverted uterus and advised me that this is how she got pregnant and well, thank you mum! I wish she had just reminded me sooner!!!

Good luck and baby dust to everyone - I hope there are many more BFP's for Christmas and the New Year!

The nurse mentioned it at a smear test. She had great difficulty getting to the cervix and in the end didn't, cause I had to go back and get it done again. Also, as my mum also has it and it normally runs in the family. Apparently 20% of women also have it, so I wondered why I hadn't heard so much about the tummy thing before - all you hear about is lying on your back with your hips propped on a pillow! I don't think that helps us much at all!

Good luck getting your BFP!
