am really confused....

My last period was on the 8th May and normally I have a 28 day cycle. Occasionally I will be 1-2 days late but nothing else. I had unprotected sex with my partner on the 15th, 17th, 19th, 20th, 22nd and 24th so leading upto and including day of expected ovulation. I was due on my period on the 5th June however started cleeding very lightly on the 31st May which lasted about 6 days.

Normally my period starts as brown discharge, gets very heavy and then end as brown discharge. This however, started as a little red, went light red and then finished pinky brown. No clots, no tampons required, no real cramps etc....very unlike me. Could this have been a starnge period, my first in 8 years?

I have been having really bad headaches for a week, nausea on and off for 5 days, I got a sharp pain around my belly button yesterday and been having mild twinges / cramps for about 3 days and today I have pain in the right hand side of my back. Last night I noticed my right breast is a lot larger than my left, noticeable and this is new. They dont hurt but my right breast feels bigger, is bigger and feels heavy.

Even though you got the bfn it is still very possible you could be pregnant, alot of women take longer for the hormones to build up enough to effect a test sometimes even up to 2 weeks after af is due.
Give it a few more days and then test again.

Hello hunny- i would visit your doctor for a blood test- please could i ask which PREG test you took?

I used clear blue on the 6th and First Responsde this morning.... I know some people take longer to show and if I did have implantation bleeding and not a period, this may explain it. Its just doing my head in....

ye i can imagine! wish it was more simpler for us ladies- we deserve it afterall!

I know, this is my first month and we didnt even try and its already been an emotional roller coaster. We are going to be trying from now on should I not be pregnant.... x

Loopylou, I am in almost same situation... it's really confusing isn't it? My last period was also 8th May, but no af at all...and no symptoms...and 2 BFN's.

I had a 6 day bleed which was nothing like my period at all and I have enever ever been early, not even a day! Bleeding was so different to a normal period but today i keep getting twinges, a stitch like feeling in my left side which is annoying..... 2 has made me feel very low x

Small update, I am off to the doctors tomorrow but they will probably send me away telling me to wait a few more days, do a test later on in the week or wait to see if I have another period.

Today I have been having twinges in my stomach on the left. It feels like a dull stitch and I feel so bloated. I only had a salad and rivita for lunch!

Anyone else going through similar? If I am not pregnant, my body is playing a nasty trick on me
