has anyone tried this to help become pg? a friend took me to a chinese dr yesterday and it was really interesting, she looked at my tongue, asked a bunch of questions and was feeling something in my wrist (it wasn't my pulse she was feeling for!) i told her we had been trying for 6 months and she told me i am too cold (i am always freezing)

anyway, she mixed up about 15 different ingredients, herbs, twigs, berries, roots and i have to make it into tea and drink it for 10 days. even if it doesn't work it was such an interesting experience and i really believe that there is cure for everything in nature (ie without drugs)

i'll let you know how it goes (hopefully it won't taste like poo)

Its something ive looked into but i always thought chinese medicine is too expensive!

i didn't think it would cost that much so didn't ask and when i got to the cash register it was $100 i was a bit surprised it was that much but thought i'd give it a try this month. if it doesn't work i certainly won't be a frequent customer

That's really neat have you tried it today? What did it taste like? I bet it was intresting. Maybe I should get into that. Let us know how things go with it

Chinese herbal medicine does not taste good but I do think it works. I haven't tried it for TTC but it is one of my considered options it doesn't happen soon. That and accupuncture. Good luck and keep us updated !

We've been doing chinese medicine (well DH has) and accupuncture for 6 months now. DH has low motility and his sperm shape was not too good, but was at the minimum. His motility was at 15%

After 3 months we got another sperm test done and motility had doubled to 30% and the sperm shape quality had jumped up too! He changed nothing else in his diet and life (everyone was already healthy) only the chinese medicine which are a heap of these little black pills and a tea as well and the accupuncture.

We're making a deposit (well DH is ) today and should have the results by Friday - we're desperately hoping for motility to be up around 50% this time as its been another 3 months.

I have a friend who has PCOS and she'd been trying for 5yrs to get preg. She was eventually put on clomid at 50mg - no O, then 50mg again with chinese medicine and accupuncture and she ovulated! Then she stopped the chinese medice and acc because it was too expensive. She stopped O on 50mg clomid. Then went up to 100mg, then 150mg with no O. Then 150mg with chinese medicine and acc and she fell preg!

So I reckon it does work...I REALLY hope I can give you another success story in a few days time!

We were going once a week for the first month, then once a fortnight for a few months, now its once every 3 weeks. Every 3 weeks it costs us just under $200 but thats for everything, but we also have to travel 3hrs there and 3hrs back.

I'm a HUGE believer in alternative therapy! I fully believe that it was the naturopath that got me pregnant this time. I was just at a friend's house this time and her sister tried for YEARS to get pregnant and couldn't and she went to an acupunturist and got pregnant in 2 months and now she's pregnant with her 2nd after only trying for one month. I have a lot more faith that alternative medicine solves the problem, not just the symptoms.

my grandfather used chinese medicine before he died as he had really bad psoriasis and it worked a treat ! my aunt then tried it as she was amazed at the results and it worked for her too !
anything is worth a try but tbh i wouldn't spend that amount of money on it as it is too expensive !

I'm starting acupuncture again at the weekend to regulate my cycles, last time it worked wonders!

well i'm also thinking about natural medecine and acupuncture.... i've got endo, i know it may not resolv my problem with endo, bt i'm sre it can make it going down i just hope it will be enough to letme be pregnant again....
