yeah i know how you feel, my next door neighbour is pregant and shes having a girl when i heard felt really bad like why cant that happen 2 me, but it will one day lol

Thanks everyone for your posts! I am mostly level headed about it and understand that ppl might have had a difficult time but are not disclosing the details. But it just seems instinctual to feel up set.

It is really nice to hear from all of you and knowing that I am not alone in how I feel

Everyone was pregnant - there were more pregnant women in the street - the till girl at Tesco would be pregnant .... I dreaded people telling me they were pregnant (offline not forum BFPs). Its a horrid mixture of feelings to cope with when you are TTC.

I totally agree with you Avistar - you can't help your feelings. Last month, I caught up with one of my good friends from university whom I hadn't seen for years. She's five months pregnant. I felt really happy for her, but at the same time a bit jealous. I felt really annoyed at myself - but like you say, you can't help how you feel and wishing it was you.

It does seem as though everyone around you is pregnant when you TTC and it can be hard to see others pregnant when you want a baby so badly. Keep your head up, it will happen for you one day.

lol i thought it may have just been me feeling this way, really everyone around me is pregnant, some got pregs on their first try and nearly all of them it didnt take long to get pregs.

Though i know it was my first time trying, i still feel disappointed and just hoping...I want to be pregnant !

God willing we'll all get BFPs this time round

Completely understand. Some people are just so clueless. I've been off the pill for over two years and everyone and their dog got pregnant but me.

oh i totally feel your pain. now that we're actually *really* TTCing, (although we aren't telling family/friends) it's a little bit harder to hear news of other women's pregnancies. not that we're not happy for them, just..... it's just harder.

I bet a lot of people had a hard time ttc but they just forgot about when they did just like you and everyone of us will it will just be a thing of the past.

yep defo know what you mean on this one! at least 4 friends have been pregnant and conceived either the first or second month (well, that's what they tell me!) two girls i work with are also pg, the thing is they know we are ttc and know my cycle so literally every month they ask me 'so.....any news for us' it's starting to drive me crazy and i now think it is really insensitive, it's difficult enough when af arrives without having to then tell people 'NO I AM NOT PREGNANT'
