Quick hijack...Tattoo?

Hi ladies,

I'm hijacking this thread just quickly as theres the most people viewing it, I know I should post in the random bits and pieces forum but thought more people would see this one...

Before fell pregnant I was planning to get a tattoo of a rainbow, as a nod at the song Somewhere Over A Rainbow my favourite song ever ever ever...most of you know the rest.

Means even more now I've listened to it. I'd really like to hear of tattoo artists in the UK, I'm in the South East but will travel however far and pay however much to the right people, to get it just right. As long as it's in England obv.

Any recommendations?

really depends on the style of the tattoo you want but one of the best in the uk is Bez... he will have a long waiting list though

ive been tattooed all over the uk (and the world) hollie, and i can say in the uk the best is actually here in belfast! ive been to LOADS of conventions etc, seen hundreds of artists and the best is Tommy Gunn of Belfast City Skinworks. here's his website-

p.s. myself and big baz both will only allow him to touch our skin and hes not overly expensive! and u can get a flight over here for about 20 quid!

p.s. if u wanna see a tattooist who must use magic... check out Nick Baxter, he's from Austin, Texas and he's a freaking pickety witch!! I don't know how he actually does it! It's INSANE!!

Hi

Louis Malloy who does the London Ink programme is supposed to be one of the best in the UK and has done tattoos for the likes of David Beckham and other big celebs.

He's from Middleton (nr Manchester) and has a shop there but then there's also the London Ink studio - i would imagine there would be HUGE waiting lists for these though.

If i could get one done from any one in the world it would have to be Kat Von D - but she's is in LA so a bit too far away!!

Where about's in the South East? I'm in Portsmouth and I have a very good friend who does Tattooing (he did mine and I'm petrified of needles and he made me feel so relaxed it was amazing) He does it in his own home too which I find very nice

another realy good place is inkers in chertsey surrey

Where in the South East are you? I know of many on and around London who are all fab! None of this transfer crap! Mine have been done in London and Posrtmouth.
