Provera?

I had my period for 6 months. It ranged from heavy to light to maybe nothing for a day then back to being heavy again...well i went to the ER with terrible cramps and they prescribed me to provera for 10 days. I started taking it and 2-3 days later i started bleeding again and now I am bleeding blood clots here and there. Is this normal? and could i just be starting to bleed early? I'm confused about all of this and i'm not quite sure what to think. Any advice on Provera would be appreciated!

I know the provera is used to induce a period sometimes. . like if you have a long cycle, they prescribe provera to start your period. but, if you have been bleeding, I wonder why they gave you that? i would almost think you would need to stop bleeding, not bleed more. have you tried going on the pill for a few months? sometimes that helps even things out and then the month you get off it, you ovulate. i went on it b/c my cycles were long, had cysts, etc. the month i went it, i ovulated and got pg.

Well i went back to the ER yesterday morning cause i was passing so many clots and it was so heavy i couldn't even leave the bathroom. I about passed out in Wal Mart the night before. So when i went into the ER they were doin labs on me and came to the conclusion to do a DNC. They stopped the bleeding and kept me all night and to go home in the early morning. They decided to put me on BC called Azurette. I think its the generic pill of YAZ. I hope it all gets better and regulated from here. I"m just wondering if there is a possibility to get pregnant off of azurette. I am not allowed to have intercourse for probably two weeks or so. I guess i'm just wondering if anyone has ever had a DNC and how it turned out for them. Please let me kno...

hiya babes yes i had a D and C on April 1st after a miscarriage, i spotted red blood straight after for around 3-4 days then bang on time 28 days later af came BUT she lasted 12 days and iv now been on and off af again for rest of cycle im due another af in 10 days, the first cycle i had from the D and C was perfect literally but now it seems something not going good or it just my body getting bk to normal, also i ovulated 16 days after the D and C bang on time so hunny u will be ok xxxx do u temp or opk? xxx

Hey just wanted to comment. I had a missed m/c on Mar 9 followed by a dnc and my cycle was about 31, but was then 27 the next month. They say after you stop bleeding which can be up to 2 wks of spotting on and off then it takes between 4-6 wks to get back to a normal cycle. Hope this helps
