A little advice needed please

Hi,

I am quite new to this forum and i have been reading all your posts which is really helping me understand about the whole ttc. Just starting to get use to all the abbreviations used etc!!!! I was just wondering if anyone could give me any advice..

Me and my dh have decided that we would like start ttc!!! I had withdrawl bleed on the 24th April for 5-6 days after my pill. However, im not too sure when my next af is or when i ovulate, so we have just been every other day more or less!!! Not too sure if i should test at a certain time, as i dont know if im regular or not. I know it may not happen the 1st time and im fully prepared but i know that you can be more fertile when you 1st come off the pill. So shall i just wait and see what happens? Shall i just wait for any symptons and if so do i test?

If anyone can give me any advice on what they did when coming straight off the pill that would be great. I understand everyones body works different.

Look forward to speaking to you.

Hello Mrs M! You and I are EXACTLY in the same boat! DH and I are ttc#1 after I had a withdrawal bleed on the 24th too!! We heard that you're very fertile after coming off the pill so wanted to use this to our advantage rather than waiting for a natural . I had a break from the pill a few years ago and got back into a 28 DC straight away, but I know of other people on here whose bodies took a while to get back to normal after. I think its purely down to the person. I got loads of OV signs around day 14, so I'm seeing that as promising! We've been about the same rate as you too () so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that something could be happening!! I'm trying to be realistic though and have bought myself a Clearblue Fertility Monitor for next month jsut in case does get me!! At least then I'll have a really day idea of what my body is doing! Keep posting on here, as I'd love to know how you're getting on! Sending you lots of xxx
