Hello! A bit about me

Hi

I'm new here and I thought I'd introduce myself. I've got 2 kids and we are ttc #3. No luck this month as the witch got me on Wednesday, I'm being honest, I was gutted However this month is a new month and hopefully we'll have some luck.

Has anyone got any tips on how to give myself the best chance to concieve? Is temp monitoring the way to go? How can you tell about your cycle through your temp? Sorry for the questions I'm just a bit clueless about all this as concieving has never run smoothly for me.

Am looking forward to chatting to you all.

Hi Snowball

Welcome to BabyandBump

Temping is personal choice some girls like to do it for 2-3 montsh to see how their cycles pan out. With previous babies I doubt you will have a problem - how long have you been trying for #3?

One thing to watch out for is is egg white CM < fertile CM & using OPKs

Good luck

Hi Wobbles

We have been ttcing for a couple of months now. It took a while to concieve #1 but #2 was the opposite. I just have the feeling that I'm in for a long wait again. Maybe I'm just impatient.

I will look out for that. I had loads at the end of my last cycle and I was really hopeful but then the arrived. I think I was too hopeful and then I got really upset.

I joined here because I want to experience the concieving/pregnancy with other people in the same situation. I am joined to another pregnancy forum but I know people on there IRL and I'd rather keep it quiet that we are ttcing again for a while. So I'm going to annoy you all in here instead

CM changes so its egg white and stretchy your looking for (stretches about an inch+) without snapping. Nice huh? lol

Maybe its the times your trying.

Its like for a woman with a 28 days cycle they say you will probbaly O around day 14 but alot of women find they are trying on the wrong days. one things they say is not to have sex (try) every day - every 2 or 3 days let the build up

Not running to the bathroom straight after sex - plenty of laughs if you get OH to hold ya legs in air lol

Thanks for that. We have been having sex around ovulation but I think we've been doing it too much. I'm just so worried about missing the oppurtunity every month I think I'm wearing his out Also I am guilty of running to the bathroom straight away so I'll stop doing that.

Ok next month I am holding off and we will try every other day. Thanks for the advice.

All the best for a BFP Snowball!! Welcome to BabyandBump.

As Wobbles said - you may want to try checking for EWCM and also use OPK's to ensure you don't miss that important window.
