I'm on a mission...

We've been TTC for 4 cycles now. I know that's not so long really, but I'm 36 years old and the clock is ticking!!
I'm picking myself up from the disappointment of the arriving this morning, and looking forward to my next cycle.
Up until now we have taken a very relaxed approach to TTC - mainly just and more - but I think the time has come to take this all a bit more seriously.
Last month OH started taking a multivitamin including vitamin E and zinc. What else could he be taking to help?? Does anyone know anything about maca?
And what's best for me to take too? Agnus Castus?
I had been avoiding temping or using OPKs because I knew that I would become obsessed with making sure we only on the 'right' days... Have just ordered some OPKs online

Is there anything else you can think of that we can try? I thought about temping but I'm just not that good at doing anything at the same time everyday.

Thanks for you help! I intend being fully armed and ready to go for this next cycle.
Bring it on!!

Hey hun!
Can't think what else, sounds all very proactive to me! Sorry AF got you!
Agnus Cactus helps regulate the cycle, right? I'm wondering if it makes the cycle shorter if it's 30/31 days long, or if it only helps if the cycle is super short or super long? Curious for myself, you see. Haha!

Loads of luck and babydust!!

Thanks Lilaala.
My cycles since coming off bcp have been 28, 28, 34, 26... so maybe agnus castus is not right for me?
I just want to throw EVERYTHING at it!!

Hi Freyasmum,
Saw on Team Naughties that you had started this thread so thought I'd have a nose.
I have read on here that a lot of ladies have had success with Preseed, not too sure if you have any problems with CM?
I must say OPKs are fab. I used them last cycle just to check I was ovulating after coming off the pill. It was great to actually get a positive POAS result for once.
I suppose you could also do CM,CP and temping. It depends on how full on you want to go.

Good luck. The lovely leftovers need a

Found u!!! Well actually found u last night but the internet went funny
I couldn't get the hang of CP, I was never too sure how to class it so gave up after a week,
I have found temping and opk's really useful so far...
I think DH has been quite surprised how well I have stuck to this one... but I guess while I find it helps I will carry on
We are of to the doctors on Friday so will see what they say... although I think they will turn round and say come back at the end of the year as on record the injection only wore of in january

Thanks Ladies!
I had thought about temping, but more often than not I sleep thru my alarm so could not be relied upon to take the temp at a regular time! You'd think maybe the 3 year old would help with this but she's a sleeper (not that I'm complaining!!).
I've been looking at info about maca and think we're going to give that a go. Just waiting for payday so I can go out and stock up.
I am SO looking forward to a +-ve POAS experience, even if it is just an OPK!!

Mum2be, I will no doubt be chatting with you in the Naughties thread, but good luck for Friday (in case I don't!). I hope it goes well and they do consider ALL the time you've been trying and not just the last few months.

Preseed is good, however i get the tubes and just use as much as I need, that way it doesn't get too messy, DH doesn't feel as if he is swimming and I can feel it (TMI, but important!!) and there is less waste!!!
