Anyone else have/had high pre-ovulation temps?

Mine seem to be seriously high this week and my period has only just gone. Anyone else had this? I did have a bit of a cold on Sunday and Monday but most of it seems to have gone now. Just a bit concerned. Anyone else had this?

If you follow my link to FF, you'll see that my temps this cycles are higher than last cycle.

I was hoping someone would answer your post as I have just posted this (copy n pasted below) - no one seems to have any info. Can you tell me how your cycle ended up or if it returned to normal? Stayed that high and increases when you O'd?

my post:

I normally have a BBT of 97.2-97.5 in pre-O from cycle days 1-15 then I Ovulate and BT goes to 97.7 to 98.1. THis has been every month for the past 5 months.

I am on CD6 today and for the past 4 days my temps are at "post-O" levels, I just got over my period 2 days ago.

CD1 - 97.2
CD2 - 97.2
CD3 - 98.1
CD4 - 97.9
CD5 - 97.7
CD6 - 97.9

I thought I may be pregnant this last cycle but at 14dpo BFN, 16 DPO AF arrived. Strange DARK blood this month on CD1 & 2, CD3 some red, then CD4 spotting. but high temps. Flow was too heavy to be pregnant.

also, my Breasts are still full and somewhat veiny, but no longer tender AT ALL. The normally shrink back to a B-cup the day AF starts.

maybe I am having hormonal imbalance issue?
High presterone?
Anyone experience this? maybe this will be an annovulatory cycle?

Your temps can be high at the beginning of your cycle because there is still some progesterone left over in your system from the previous luteal phase. It normally works that way with me anyway which is why I don't start temping until AF has finished.

I converted your temps to F (bc C means nothing to me LOL), susan, and 97.7 isn't really THAT high. I think you're within a normal range.

However, high pre-O temps can point to hyperthyroidism. It's one of the tests for it. I'm not sure how high "too high" is.. but I'm sure the internet knows! Good luck, hun!
