I'm Currently Feeling:  | Been to the doctors
Well, she was lovely. I wrote everything down, and she listened patiently and didn't patronise me, which is what i was worried about.
She did an internal and everything feels okay, it was quite an extensive one, and not pleasant, but she was very thorough.
She asked me loads of questions, listened to my worries, and set my mind at rest.
She said that the painful ovulation could just be hormone linked, or my age (that really didn't make me feel any better, but hey ho). She examined them thoroughly when she did the internal by pressing on my tummy and said they felt fine.
She said it was highly unlikely that the c section has caused any damage there, which is good.
She's referred me for a thyroid test (next Wed), just to be on the safe side, but she said it's more likely just 'one of those things'.
Basically, next step is to have thyroid test, get results, if all okay, wait another 4 months (it'll have been 18 months by then) and if I'm still not pg, to go back and she'll see if there is anything else they can test me for, or refer me to.
I feel much happier knowing that I've took the first step, and feeling hopeful that I won't need to take the second. |

I'm Currently Feeling:  | Glad to hear nothing happened/was left over from the C-section. Hopefully you won't need the 2nd appointment, but it sounds like you have a very good doc that is going to listen to you and make sure that everything gets done to see you get another DC. Always a good thing.
