I'm Currently Feeling:  | Hi Im new and TTC
Hello My name is Sarah and Im a mum to a wonderful little boy named Jake who is 3. I had my mirena coil removed six weeks ago and have been TTC since. I have had no sign of AF etc since the removal and did an HPT today and nothing  I know its still early days but I have been on a number of sights and have read it can take up to a year after the mirena TC as well as a lot of other things. I wasnt told this before it was put in, infact I was told the opposite. I have very irregular periods and didnt bleed at all with the coil in situ. So, I suppose I now just play the waiting game. Is anyone else TTC post coil/IUD?

I'm Currently Feeling:  | Not me, I was on BCP for about 13-14 years (maybe longer, time sure flies!). Maybe someone else here had been and can answer your question better.

I'm Currently Feeling:  | I heard with the Mirena you should be able to TTC and ovulate like withen 1-2 months sometimes earlier...
I'm not sure really. I have not ever used an IUD before.
But, welcome to B&B.
I hope you Get your BFP soon. I would maybe call your doctor and see what they say??  |
