confused about opk

I took an opk on Monday the 13th and it came up positive - took one yesturday and it was negative so when would I ovulate or have I already? I noticed on Monday my nips where a bit sore and then yesturday I had a few cramps but nothing this month like I usually get when I ovulate - whats goin on ?

Thank you in advance

The positive opk means that your body is producing luitenizing hormone which triggers ovulation. Basically you can ovulate anywhere from 12-36hrs after your positive opk, so you may well have ovulated already. Do you chart your temps at all?

Thank you for the response. No I do not temp it kinda seems to confusing for me but I have been tracking my CM and using opks and also paying close attention to my ovulation symptoms. It just seemed different this month and was afraid we missed the mark.
