my opk has been positive for ages!!

Hiya, well i normally ovulate on day 14 have pretty regular cycle i get ovulation pain, last month i had cd21 tests to confirm i was ovulating as its taking a while to get preg all my hormone tests at the beginning of the month came bk normal as well but this month im having a weird month. My opk is positive every day its been like this about 5 days and today was the strongest line so far way darker than control line, i always test around lunchtime and then again in the evening all the tests are positive. I have had no ovulation pain this month my cervix was high soft and open for a few days around when i should have ovulated and i had EWCM but now my cervix still feels high but its hard and feels closed. I dont know whats going on but im really worrying that the opk is staying positive. Anyone have anything like this happen to them before? xx

OpKs can be a pain.....I called about this to First Reponse and they told me only when the test line is darker than the control line is it a positive. What tests are you using. I found that the ICs are better....

Also, they told me that sometimes your body gears up for ovulation and it doesn't happen so you detect a surge for a longer period of time. It's so confusing I know.

I would just keep Bding until they are negative.......I hope you get your BFP honey.

Is there anyway you could be pregnant? This happened to me. +ve for a week and it was actually because I was pregnant. OPK pick up the pregnancy hormone!

i doubt im pregnant my last period was pretty heavy and im only due to be about 4dpo now (if i had ovulated on time) so it wouldnt show yet anyway would it, my cervix doesnt feel fertile anymore and my CM is drying up but today was the strongest line ive had this month (all the lines that ive counted as positive have been as dark or darker than control line) the one today was about twice the strength of control line and come up as soon as i dipped it in the urine, im using tesco ovulation tests they are like IC but they have a blue handle instead of a green one, they say on the box they detect it at 40 Miu or sumthing like that so there not even that sensitive.

Carriane im glad im not the only one this is happening to.
