Chemical pregnancy

Hi all,

Just a quick question.

I had my bloods monitored and my bloods went from 75hcg on 23rd Feb to 65hcg on 2nd March a week later then on the 9th March my levels were 33hcg.

I have still not had Af to clear me out! Anyone encountered the same problem?

How long did it take for you? I just want my body back.

Vik

Hi Vik,

Sorry, I don't know the answer but I hope things go back to normal for you very soon.

Hey hun,

I too have recently had a chemical pregnancy. I tested last Tuesday and had a followed by another 2 the following day, due to light spotting / bleeding I was given an appointment at the Early Pregnancy Unit where they did an internal ultrasound, and found that there was nothing there and it had allready been lost.

By the Friday night I had begun bleeding heavily a day later than when my was due!

I am now cd4, and still have a medium / light flow

How long ago did you have a ? What signs appart from the blood tests did you have?? When was your due?? They told me that normally you would have a bleed around the time was due to about a couple of days later!

Sorry for your loss xx

Hi chick. Well it is a long story but to cut it short (ha ha):

MMC twins Dec 08 - D+C 12th Jan 09

BFN 30th Jan

No AF

BFP 23rd Feb (had bloods tested and HCG 75, then a week later 65, (still BFP on FRER) Week after that 2nd March HCG at 33. Not done a test since as i am trying to chill out and not let it affect me.

On the 2nd march i also had a internal scan and they said there was a ball of something collected but they thought it could have been the remains of tissue left after D+C, alhtough i had BFN on 30th Jan so they said it must be a new pregnancy!

So it has been 3 weeks since bloods dropped and no sign of AF yet! EPAU said that it might be because my levels have not yet returned to normal yet, but surely they would have by now, i mean they were only at 33hcg 3 weeks ago!

So that is my story so far! Af is usually due about now so who knows what is going on.

So i have not had a period since October and been through a whirl wind of troubles that i just want witch to show her face and let me get my body back.....

Vik

Hi hon, I also just got over a very early mc, and my HcG never got above 100 either. I would guess I started bleeding maybe 3 days after the doc had tracked it down to 2. It wasn't very heavy at all either, not even like a normal period, which are only 3 days for me....but I counted the bleeding as cd1 and I O'd on cd19, currently in the 2ww.

I'm so sorry for your loss hon, I know how you feel.

Ohh Vik,

you must be going crazy!!! I really don't have an answer for you, personally I would have thought that would be here by now, or at least some kind of spotting?!

I hope she does arrive soon for you, so your body will be ablse to sort itself out!!

Theres nothing worse than just waiting about!

Good Luck xxxx

The EPAU has said just to wait but if i was that concearned to go to the doctor and get another blood test to check levels. I did a boots own test last night and it was BFN so my levels must have dropped to more or less normal by now!!!

Will keep you girlies updated.

And sorry about your losses also.

Vik
