I need to just let it go!

Ok, well after no real symptoms (which in itself was unusual so I got excited), I think AF has finally arrived. I had cramps this morning which for the first time felt like the real thing and used a tampon. I removed it four hours later and there was just a tiny spot of blood on the end (TMI sorry).

I'm still cramping and I look and feel awful. It's over isn't it? I'm on CD31 today. I got period cramps on Tuesday night and was sure that was it and then it all died away and nothing. I was hoping it was implantation. Some part of me wants to believe this cramps and the tiny bleed may still be implantation related but another part thinks I should just accept it.

I want to go home and sleep until tomorrow and then see where I am as I can't face all the waiting and cramps and fear that I failed again.

Hubby is cracking me up too. He is over-weight and I've begged him for the sake of conceiving if nothing else to loose it but he still hasn't done a thing. As far as I'm concerned we should be doing all we can as I'm 34 and the clock is ticking. He's 28 and I can't seem to get through to him. Really annoys me too as I eat really well and I'm only 4 pounds heavier than when we met four years ago!

BabyBrave, I believe that got me too this morning. This month I took a step back for a bit because I was becoming too obsessed with this all. I am 35 and OH is 31. He is more lax about it all and really doesn't care if we don't conceive (he says that we could have a lovely life without kids too). But i think in my heart i truly want at least one child. given my age, i really feel the clock is ticking like you.

Everyone around me is getting pregnant. Then the famous question: when are you guys having kids? you aren't getting younger you know? --> no duh!

but i hear u BabyBrave ... maybe we can start our new threat with today being cd1 .. we'll provide eachother encouragement

have you been trying long babybrave? men in general i think arnt as interested in us woman in having children. Like confused_one my OH was like well what will be will be and i was like NO i want a baby! why dont you understand. My OH is 8 years older than me he smokes and isnt that healthy all be it not overweight. Took 2 years to conceive with 1st child and with this wee one it was a complete suprise however we did know that i could fall pregnant. i was obsessing over when i was ovulating or is my period late and i think to relax helped me in some way as i wasnt constantly stressing him out by saying right tonight is the night etc so he didnt say things that made me snap at him lol. i hope all works out for you x

Thanks girls.

Elainegee I'm only on cycle 3 (well 4 now I guess), so not long but I know we need to egt shifting. Silly thing is my DH is really excited and wants the family life in the country so he's messing with his own dreams and aspirations - numpty.

Confused-one that sounds like a great plan. CD1 it is!

Oh, is that true? Then I think I'm on CD1 today as it is definitely a red flow today. I'm a little encouraged as I took an average of my first two cycles and predicted my third cycle would be 30 days and it was! Excellent. So now I have an actual cycle length to work off which should help.

Hubby and I are planning on trying for every other day from April for as long as we can keep it going.

Scary thing is that according to my baby book at the date of my period our baby will be due on Christmas Day!!!! Ah well, I'm sure they can keep some turkey and stuffing for me.

How you doing this morning?
