Faint lines on tests

Hello Ladies

Was just wondering if anyone has had faint lines on tests all through their pregnancy?Obviously as the pregnancy progress's the HCG should get stronger therefore the line should get darker or is it possible for the test results to remain faint?

Any opinions welcome please x

how many dpo are you? i think these tests vary from woman to woman. if the line came up quickly i.e. in the allotted time frame then i would imagine you have a reasonable level of hcg in your body. see your gp if you're worried.

I got alot of negative tests gave it 2weeks and still no period. took another test and it came out faint.
positive but faint. Doctor retested me and same happened. He said its because ive very early in the pregnancy say only a few weeks.
sure enough in 3weeks time the test was dark as hell and i was booked in for the midwife

I would go back to doctor and ask for a blood test, they are more accurate.

Normally with rising HcG hormones the color in HPT would get darker. However not in all cases . You can rely on darkness of lines from HPT to determine levels. BT is ideal but realisticly thats not an option in most cases. If you have trust it ..even if its faint.maybe another brand will show darker like in my case. IC still light ..but FRER dark!! best wishes..
