Question

Regular ovulation/irregular periods?

Hello,
I have monitored my periods and my ovulation over the past year while trying to become pregnant. I have notived that although my periods can be sometimes be irregular, my ovulation has been very regular with 27,5 days appart (I use ovulation tests and can also feel my ovulation very clearly).

Doctors tell me that the regular ovulation is simply a coincidence, because it is the periods that determine when the ovulation occurs, and that I should consider my periods simply irregular. But I think it is far steady pattern to be a coincidence.

So I was curious - have any of you experienced the same?
