Faint line on Ov test

I did an Ovulation test today. More for the sake of morbid curiosity. Id done maybe 5 of them in the past and just gotten the one 'control' line and nothing else. So a complete negative, but this time there is a definate faint second line. On the instructions it just sais this is a neg result too, as in, im not ovulation right now. But could it mean i might soon, or have recently? SHould i test again tomoz or am i just kidding myself?

edit: The faint line is about as half as strong as the 'control' line. It sais it needs to be the same strength line for a pos result, but surely its gotta mean something if the other times there was no second line at all....

Normaly there should always be 2 lines as the body always has LH in it (but i suppose some woman may be different) most of the time one will be a lot fainter then the other.
if your now noticing the the 2nd line the theory is it should get darker each day the closer you get to Ov untill it is the same shade. Try another one tomorrow and see if its any darker

I dont know if im kidding myself or not but ive got some white cm (sorry if tmi) today aswell. I havnt had any for about 2 weeks. At first i thought maybe it was the start of

ive been using opk too and like you ive had only one line every single time and today i got a faint second line! it must mean im going to ovulate soon, well hopefully! fingers crossed we both do. xx

this morn. Who knows what was going on in that test. I suppose a faint second line on Ov test realy is just a neg. That will make it easyer a suppose to tell when i realy am, needing both the lines to be strong.

Quite often there a small LH surge before AF.

This catches many women out who try to use OPKs as HPTs, which is why it's recommended to only use OPKs as HPTs after a positive HPT.
