How long is your cycle? I think with a "normal" 28 day cycle, they recommend starting on about day 11. This is assuming you ov on day 14 though, I ended up getting through tonnes of sticks and not oving til cd19!!!

I would start on day 11 or 12 if you have a normal 28 day cycle. Just make sure you have enough, I have a 28 day cycle but found out through those that I O on day 15-16.

My cycle is 31 days pretty much every month so maybe O day is CD 17 or 18 for me? So I should try around the 14 or 15th day? When you use them can you skip a day or is it something you have to do every day once you start until you discover O day?

No you cannt skip a day or you could easily miss it! I would start on day 14 if I where you, good luck! Oh and make sure to use them in the afternoon, but make sure your urine isnt watered down.

yeah I would def. base it on your cycle length. I have a short cycle, so if I wait till the "recommended" time to start poas-ing I will miss it! I have a 24-25 day cycle and I O on day 10 ( just to give you some frame of reference) Also,I have used the first response opk and was very pleased...seemed to work well. This last month I used the Answer brand opk because they were cheaper.... however I never did get a solid positive ( and I'm almost positive I did ovulate). So basically~ don't be cheap!! hahaha

I would go ahead and do everyday. As for your cycle length, A typical LP is 14 days so I would count back 14 days for your ov. day which would be CD 17... that in mind I personally would prob start with they opk on CD 14 or 15

Ok will do. I have ordered a bunch of internet cheapies through fertilityplan but they won't get here on time so I will pick up a first response one for this cycle.. it should get me on the right track. I always used CM etc to tell when I was ovulating and I am sure I always have just never sure what day exactly. I wish I had a shorter cycle! More chances to get pregnant! lol

Its a double edged sword believe me! Having a short cycle is giving me many months, but it doesn't give us very many days to from end of AF to Ovulation. But that's a trade off.
It was a pain before we were trying to make a baby to have a short cycle though... I had more "out of order" days than most women Of course my DH hated that... less time we got to "do the grown up"
