So after sex, how long do a i wait before i can test?

It takes a while for the hormones to change I think, looking at the instructions which came in the most expensive test I could find, which advertise as giving you a result really early (which is still only 5 days before AF) it's only 55% accurate at that point.

If you want to test asap I'd buy some cheap tests and not get too upset if it doesn't show up positive the first time.

the hgc hormorne peaks at 4 days after the day ur period was due, so testing to early would just work u into a tizzy

i agreee with all the other replies....ladies here have tested 7-10DPO and got

...i testd 10DPo and got

however i later tested on another brand and kind of test and got

....my advice is the same as others....waiting is better....if you realllly wanting

then seeing a

cus of testing tooo early can be devistating.....

I'd wait until 12dpo. Lots of pregnant women don't see BFPs until late. Every woman and pregnancy is different. There is not set date you will test positive if pregnant when you take into account that some women don't even metabolize hCG into their urine. The longer you wait, the more likely you are to see a positive and a non-confusing one at that to boot.
