Just A Wonky Cycle Or Not ?? Would appreciate your thoughts pls x

Hiya, Im trying to gauge peoples opinions on whether they think I've just had a wonky cycle or not.

I had my first AF after an early natural m/c on 6th Feb. The period lasted just 2 days but was heavy enough to be classed as a period according to my doc.

On CD5 & CD6 of that cycle I had EWCM and ov style pains from CD4 until CD7. On CD6 I had a tinge of blood through my CM. My temps nor CM at that point were not predicting O according to FF.

FF predicted O at CD15 based on BBT, but then cross haired a few days later when I had watery CM again. It stated that although my temp predicted O around CD15, my CM suggested possible Ov from CD17- CD19. Around this time I also had ov style pains again. ????????

From CD15 my temp rose and has continued to remain above the coverline temp although have had one or two dips but never below coverline temp.

On CD26 I started very light spotting of a blood stained SUPER STRETCHY ewcm discharge but was constant during that day but only when I wiped. The following day I had a light actual blood flow {red} with a couple of small clots, but the blood was very thin flowing / liquidy.
The next day was the same but slightly heavier so I recorded it as a medium flow on FF, but was more light - medium in reality.

FF then started a new cycle stating that my old cycle had ended on CD26, due to me logging the bleeding.

I have mild PCOS and irreg periods. I have never in my entire life had a cycle shorter than 29 days and my average cycle tends to be 33 days. After the light-medium flow I was back to very light spotting. Again my periods are normally uncomfortably heavy for 2 days and last 4/5 days on average, i very rarely spot. The "blood" I've experienced this time seems different in flow and texture, has been quite shiny - hard to explain lol

According to FF I should now be on CD4 of my new cycle. Since O was predicted using my temp on my previous cycle my temperature has remained above the coverline.
IF i merge my cycles together using FF I would today be 15 DPO BUT with a revised CM ov prediction of CD26 to CD28 due to the watery and then bloody ewcm that I logged as having, I also had some
cramping around these dates too ??????

Nothing seems consistent with what should be happening:

My cycle was shorter than its ever been
AF was not normal in length, flow, texture
My temps have remained above coverline and if I seperate the cycles my early cycle day temps are higher than last cycles
My cervix still remains high & soft
The zillion symptoms i've had since O havent gone away

YET I TESTED BFN JUST TWO EVENINGS AGO??

Looking at everything I've said from fresh points of view am I simply reading too much into everything, is it more likely I've simply had a wonky cycle OR does it seem peculiar???

Part of me thinks draw a line underneath it all and get on with my new cycle but another part of me keeps getting these questions popping in and out of my head.

I know I could simply re-test but question is when? Do I stick with the predicted O date FF made using my temps or go by the predicted O dates using my CM?? OR do I just forget all this odd stuff and see what happens this cycle.

Sorry for a long post but has helped me to record everything in one thread JUST incase I need the info in the future.

Yours obsessively lol xxxxxxxx

Hi Jacey,

I'm having a totally obsessive time at the moment as well with all the charting .

I haven't been charting long so not an expert but if you did o when FF says you did then i would expect that a HPT with first morning urine should give you an accurate result now as you would technically be 3 days late if you had a 16day LP. The chart looks promising that you are pregnant but I can see why it is confusing you.

Drive you nuts wouldn't it, best of luck I hope you get your soon x

Thanks hun, im no expert either lol, still quite new to me. FF originally suggested that I test at 19 dpo which would be weds this coming week, ive half got it in mind if my temps stay above coverline between now and then and no obvious normal AF shows then maybe that would be a wise time to test, question is can i wait that long lol x

Good luck to u too hope a BFP comes ur way soon x

Retest with FMU at what would be 18dpo (3 days from now, I think). You should either have AF or a bfp by then. If you used evening urine and tested at 13dpo a false bfn is totally possible. I had a false bfn with FMU at 13dpo and got a bfp on 18dpo.

Good luck!!

Hey

I had an early miscarriage about 3 months ago, basically the egg either started to implant then didn't complete or the egg implanted then aborted shortly after... I had a bizarre cycle the month of the miscarriage, it started with very light spotting about a nickel a day in size and lasted for 3 days then turned into heavier very dark bleeding that lasted about 4 days then spotted again for a couple more. It was weird for me, I never ever have spotted like that at the beginning. So I went to the dr. and confirmed what I already knew. My cycle the next month was pretty normal though... I thought maybe it would have been messed up but nothing out of the ordinary. Since then I am have been same as always. Still TTC day 28 of my cycle is today... going to wait 3 days before testing. I also don't chart my cycles as thoroughly as you do. I mark down start of AF and finish as well as predicted O times using online fertility O calculators. And 9 months later still no baby and I have stopped even doing that... I figure if I don't make an effort it will happen lol. This probably isn't useful to you but I agree with the others just test again or have your dr. test at a clinic. Good luck.

Thanks hun, sorry to hear about ur m/c and hope a BFP comes ur way soon x. My temp today is above coverline again but also realitively static for past few days and only just over the coverline so still not sure what the think. Will test Tues am with FMU if temp stays above coverline and if BFN as I suspect will mention to my doc as have an apt that afternoon & see what they think, seems like the most sensible option at the moment as quite simply I havent a clue whats going on. Did wonder if I might be having a chemical or early m/c again but surely i would have had a BFP ??? who knows x

I am 99% sure I had 2 chemicals but never got a BFP with them. I don't metabolize hcg well into my urine and I don't think it ever got high enough to test pos with those chemicals.
