Driving myself crackers!

OK, I seriously am driving myself insane! I'm not even TTC, or at least not really. We're supposed to be waiting until after the wedding. Took one test (I'm soooooo good!) last month after having a very light period that lasted for less than a day and it came up So I thought, great, no worries, we weren't trying anyway, I'll just carry on.

But I can't help but symptom spot. My boobs have grown (they were never small to begin with but now...wowsers!), my nipples hurt, my lower back is cramping, I'm nauseous, I have terrible headaches, I'm exhausted to the point of dizzyness, I have more cm then I know what to do with (TMI! Sorry!) and I keep getting weird little shooting pains in my belly.

I refuse to get my hopes up though. AF is due again in two weeks and I'm not testing until then. But I am currently going MENTAL trying NOT to think about it. Every time I do manage it, my tummy twinges again to remind me what I'm not thinking about. Seriously, how do you cope in the long wait between testings? I think I might be completely deranged by the time this fortnight is up!

Hi YellowCrayon...so correct me if I'm wrong ut it sounds like if you are pregnant it would be from last cycle? If that is the case, you might very well have tested too early last month in which case I personally wouldn't wait another two weeks to test. My recommendation (granted, I love to poas! ) but I would recommend buying a two pack....one for now incase it was from last cycle cause then you'd be like 6 weeks prego and then if that one is a you have a second for if/when your is late this month. &

Yeah, it would be from the last cycle so about four weeks gone by now, if indeed it's happened.

I think you're right - I just didn't want to get my hopes up when I HAD had a bleed, you know? But I just don't think I can wait that long, the stress and worry isn't doing me any good.

I'm sitting here, posting from work, and I actually got tears in my eyes from you both being so nice to me in your messages. Hormonal? me? Of course, if I said that, that would be symptom spotting, huh...?

I would test again!! The light bleeding you had in the last cycle could of been implantation bleeding. And you tested too soon!

I had light bleeding on Sunday, also just lasted a day. I did a test and it was also a BUT reading up about it, it says I should wait atleast 3-4 Days after the implantation bleeding to test!

DO A TEST!

My plan is to test on Friday. This week is a bit of an emotional roller coaster for me (horrible argument with my fiance last night, during the course of which I said something I shouldn't have said and although we've talked through it, and he's fine now, I still feel horrific about it and very delicate. We NEVER row, so I'm just a mess right now), plus I should find out whether or not I'm going to be made redundant next month. So I just don't think I could cope with an answer either way until then. If it's negative, I'll be devastated, but if it's positive and I'm not sure about what's happening with work, I'll be way too stressed to enjoy it.

Hopefully, by Friday, I'll have a clearer head and I'll be able to deal with the outcome whatever it may be...
