How much Clomid to take?

Hi all,

I was interested in finding out how much Clomid you should take and when.

I have heard that you should only take it for day 3 to day 7 of your cycle, if so how many tablets should you take if you were on 50mg? Would it be one per day?

Sorry i know its alot of quiestions.

I took mine on days 3-7 and was on 50mg. I got 10 tablets from the pharmacy, so I took 2 per day.

Thanks Ariel, I got mine when abroad, so wasn't too sure how much and when to take. Has it worked for you before?

You should have them prescribed by a Dr who will monitor your reactions to them etc. Most pharmacies will give you 50mg tables (UK) (although this may alter in different countries) .. so 1 tab a day (2 if the Dr has advised 100mg)

Most Dr's will prescribe 50mg taken from CD2-6 for the 1st month or so and depending on the reaction (O or not ... folical growth/size etc) may increase this to 100mg ... but if doing this will want to check your reaction closely to avoid over-stimulation.

It depends, ive seen quite a few people prescribed different doses and told to take it at different days on their cycle.

What did your doctor tell you to do?
