we have had it around since Oliver was about that age, He does a wee on it before his shower. The other day I was brave and left him with no nappy on and no trousers and he used the potty 3 times, and had a little accident on the sofa (wee).

He tells me when he has been or when he is going to do a "poo poo" but I don't think he knows what he is doing iykwim? I have heard and read that boys are so much harder to potty train and take longer.

We leave the potty out for Chloe, she knows what it is and knows that she sits on it. The only problem is she tells me after she needs her nappy changed so I guess I'm gona have to wait a bit longer before I can get rid of the nappies.

We have a seat potty around now and have done for a month. I have been concentrating hard on her wet nappies and poo times so maybe in a month we will start to use it properly. She can ften be dry overnight and then do a whopper of a pee when she gets up so i am keen to add to that
