Anyone's toddler run down?

It seems like Louie has been generally coldy and fighting a cold for almost a month now! He seems happy in himself and I've taken him to the docs a couple of times and his chest is fine, it's just a mucusy cough and runny nose that just won't go away! And yesterday I had to go back to the docs for eye drops as he developed two gammy eyes.

I know snow is a big pain in the arse but at least it kills all the bugs, I think we really need a big freeze! I myself seem to have had a constant cold this winter, I get about a weeks respite before another bug invades my immune system! Berocca is my friend at the moment!

Are there any kids vitamins suitable for a one year old?

Abidec are a good vitamin drop for babies/toddlers or just look in Boots, they have loads - Haliborange, Seven Seas etc...

Frankie has been on and off ever since his MMR jabs mid October. He still has a very runny nose and a cough in the night but he seems to be back to himself now in terms of playing and making noise! It's so awful when they're not just right, you just want to make them all better. Bug hugs xxx

I always used to get run down in winter as a kid and each year my mum gave me minadex which is vitamins and iron in an orange flavour liquid form...worked a treat and I now have it in cupboard for my toddler

Same, its been cold/teething snotty etc/sore throat/cold

PITA but good for his immune system bless him!

I feel so sorry for him, he's constantly got a rash on his lips,chin where I'm having to wipe big green snot (sorry TMI) away all the time and he's got two molars coming as well. I saw that minadex stuff in the pharmacy when I went to pick up his eye drops yesterday so I'm gonna give that a go. Thanks ladies xxx

Yes A is like this, exactly. Took her too the docs today and said she has a viral infection and to just take calpol. I was suprised as she had a horrible cold and was convinced it was a chest infection. I spend most of the day wiping snot from her face

Hannah seems to just get over one cold/cough to catch another one these days. Unfortunately she generally gives it to me too

I try to boost her Vit. C through fruits and so far she's only had one really bad cold, the rest have been relatively minor
