He hit 20 pounds at 6 mths but at his 2 yr apt he was only 28 pounds I was concerened that he hadn't gained any wieght but the Doc said since he was so active he didn't really retain any of his calarie in take. He is currently 30 pounds and 35in at 2 1/2yrs I think evey kid is different. hope that helps

Hi - my little girl is 23 months and is about 26 pounds. Her dad and I are naturally quite skinny so I don't worry about it, and certainly don't listen to silly health visitors! As long as you know she is gaining weight, eating and is healthy, I wouldn't worry. These people just go on statistics!

My first daughter carly through out was always underwieght, only slightly though. Even though she ate more then any other baby/toddler would , But she has filled out now and is spot on. Even has a little chubby tum hehe.
I wouldnt worry to much if she was dramatically underwieght then maybe id worry but all seems fine and if she running around alot its obvious she has tons of energy!! So healthy!

I stoped going to my first health vistior kept saying i wasnt feeding her right, but i knew what i was doing. They go by charts, doesnt mean anything imo

God, some of them are completely useless! They told me that I didn't have enough breast-milk and that I would have to use formula. I just ignored them and breast-fed totally for 6 months. Idiots some of em!
