Outdoor Toys

Can anyone recommend some good outdoor toys for 12-18 months?

Elyse likes her Ride-On toys, but I don't think she'd be ready for a trike.

Cozy Coupe says 18 months but she'll be 18 months in September?

I think she would probably eat the sand in a sandbox?

I am so lost lol.. trying to get her something for outside since it's getting warm and her birthday is Saturday..

Rubber boots!
For exploring mud puddles, rainy walks and early spring muck!
There are lots of incredibly cute ones and most toddlers seem very very fond of their rubber boots....

Cozy Coupe! I know it says 18mo but really we got it for Landon's 1st bday I believe, it might have been the xmas after so I guess he would have been a bit over 1 1/2 if that was the case but we've had it since then so Casen and Hayden used it from a younger age and it's been a huge hit and we still have it.

Our favorite outdoor toy is this awesome trike for Hayden

It is ages 2-5 but again I think it could be enjoyed from a younger age, plus it has music and sounds. We got it for Hayden for xmas and he jumped on there and started pedaling! we couldn't believe it, he's the youngest of the boys to figure out how to pedal and he is super tiny and can actually reach

We also have this

Ours is technically indoors but meant to be used outdoors lol. It's a pretty basic one but all 3 of the boys love it. It's really easy to climb up and the slide isnt' too big so I think it would be good for her age

At that sort of age they love things like a basin of water and some different things to fill, spades/trowels for digging in the flower beds, get some plant pots and plant some quick growing seeds etc.

Finn really loves sand. I guess he does eat a bit now and then so it's important cats etc don't go in it. And balls. He likes to kick and roll balls about. I think his favourite garden toy is a giant buoy we found by the seaside!

Def Rubber boots! Jasmine loves the puddles and mud right now.

I dont think Elyse would eat too much sand, once she tasted it she liekly wouldn't like it and decide playing was a better though I have a sandbox already for her.

Im going to buy a trike too!

Jasmine loves balls too, especially her yoga ball. You could get one of those for outside, they are cheap at walmart.

Water tables are fun for them too! I've seen tones of cool outside toys at zellers.

we want to get a water table for Hannah this summer as well. She loves spashing through puddles and mud. Last year she had a little ride on toy, she couldn't push herself on it (well anyway except backwards) but she enjoyed us pushing her around. Her pool and of course the water hose were a big hit! This year I also want to get her a dump truck as I think she'll enjoy putting stuff in and taking it out

You could always get one of those trikes with the handle at the back for you to push. You can take the handle off after.

I would say get a water and sand table. You could always start with a little sand on one side and see how she does. I'm sure after tasting it she will probably want to spit it out. Last summer Connor was really into bubbles, his pool, and bouncy balls. He also liked having a little chair to sit on.
