Posts: 429 | Eye drops for sticky green eye/conjunctivitis Hi all, Has anyone used the chloramphenicol eye drops to clear there LO conjunctivitis? My 5 week old was prescribed them at 3 weeks but it cleared so i didn't use the drops (HV advised not to bother). Anyway it has come back now i am thinking maybe best to give them to her. However upon reading the leaflet it says not to use when pregnant or breastfeeding and has some nasty side effects. Not too keen on giving them after reading that  Advice please? x x |
