Jasmine had 1 a day for a long time before she got into other fruits... We have never had any constipation problems. But I also give her 1 juice daily too.

What can cause constipation in one person, wont nessecarily cause it in another.

Bananas cause me and my son constipation. However it causes diarrhoea in my mother.

DS has a banana every other day with toast for brekkie and that is quite enough

my son ate one everyday and I couldnt figure out why he was so constipated, gave him loads of juice, oranges, water and it didnt make a blind bit of difference. It didnt take me long to realise what was causing it after i forgot to pick some up at my weekly shop and he was soon back to normal after a few days of not having them. now i limit him to a couple a week but im happy as hes eating alot more different kinds of fruit now, he especially loves apples. I have to hide them now as he would eat tons of them if i let him.

daisy would eat them day and night if I let her! They do make her constipated if she has them too often though.

i think it depends, some will be ok with them some not
