Brooke has also had a GA late last year to determine whether she had a heart conditon and a hole in her lung. She was 8 months I think? and weighed only around 10lb ish.

Like Teagans mama said, the worst bit for us was the no-food rule broke my heart making her starve but Id rather get it over with iykwim?
We walked down to the MRI room-lucky for us she fell asleep in my arms on the way! we got down there and met the anetheatist, he was lovely. I held Brooke tight as he put the little mask over her face-and i wont lie, my heart was breaking as I was so scared for her. I knew when she had gone to sleep properly because all of a sudden her body went limp.

I laid her on the mat, gave her a massive kiss and told her I loved her, then sat outside the room.

Brooke didnt make a sound when she came round, she was VERY dazed and looked so confused for a while bless her. She did start to cry on the way back to the ward but I think thats because she was hungry-she downed loads of milk when we got back! never seen her drink so much
