chesty cough!!

Hi my daughter developed a cold on Friday and by Sat she had a chesty sounding cough......It seems a little better today but just wondered if anyone had any advice? Or should I just take her to the dr? I took her on Fri as worried as she was sleeping alot - now I know it was due to the cold, but not sure whether to take her back or not? She is still feeding and still happy and smiley just has a bad cough!

Awe...hey. how is she doing?

I would get a vaporisor for her room and keep it on at noc. She could have an upper respirtory infection as well. I would say if she still sounds yucky, take her in. They can give her an inhaler with albuterol and also steriods in a nebulizer if need be. I hope she's feeling better.!

Jack has had been that way since he was born. I am going to have them look into things a bit more! Good luck babe.

BTw..what did they say when you took her in on friday?

I'd take LO to be checked out to be on the safe side, as she is still only little. It's probably just a virus and will clear up but it's better to be safe than sorry I suppose. Hope everything's ok!
