Dinner time

How do I get him to eat all his dinner without bribing him??

Usually ''you're not getting anything else unelss you eat it'' works but I want him to just eat it!

If I feed him before me and oh eat he is usually ok, but if we eat together and I finish before him, he slows down and stops! I tried eating slower but all that happened is my food got cold

I don't give him too much dinner, sometimes I give him smaller portions so that he asks for more..
He doesn't snack alot in the day- he gets his lunch arould 1, and a snack (raisins or fruit or rice cake not sweets chocolate or crisps, and milk.) around 3 same as at playgroup.

We don't like the clear you're plate thing, so we don't worry about them eating it all, if they do that's great if not no big deal. They do have to take a few bites of each thing then after that it's up to them how much they eat. We also do dinner as a family. But what I'd personally do is have him eat with yall, let him eat until he's done, if he stops when you stop then let him down, if he's hungry he'll figure it out really quick that he should eat more at dinner time. But he won't starve himself or anything, I wouldn't be too worried
