Since he isn't wanting his milk at night and nap that's actually good cause it can be bad for their teeth to sit on their teeth like that. I would try offering it with breakfast and dinner...that's what we do atleast, they get a cup then. Sometimes they drink it all, sometimes just a little bit. As long as he's having other sources of calcium and such in things like cheese, yogurt I wouldn't be too worried about it, just keep offering

The recommendation is about 16oz a day, or less...but no more than 24oz. So I personally would try and get atleast 8oz and then it in other ways. Will he eat cheese cooked into things? Or on sandwiches? Or does he like yogurt

like mommyof3 said if he gets his calcium and proteins from other foods , theres no need to worry

but how about milkshakes ? you can make them yourself with fresh fruit etc.. would he maybe like that ?
you could also make you own pizzas out of crumpets or bagals - etc.. and add tinned toms and lots of cheese on top if you are concerned about shop brought ones ....

i actually used cheese muffins for it last week, and lo loved them

or try mixing cheese into mash etc.. or try a different type of cheese to see if that gets some iinto him.
oh and dont forget that milk in food counts too.... ie: in scrambled egg / mash / cereal etc.. ok its only in little bits but it adds up
