| I think most kids need naps until around 3-4 atleast..some up to 5 even. My kids all had 2 naps until around 18mo then dropped to 1. Landon napped everyday until 4, Casen napped until 3 then started refusing but now at 4 1/2 does nap a couple times a week and would nap every single day if we were in the car. Landon at 6 1/2 could use a nap everyday after school lol. Hayden's 26mo and will be napping for awhile still. He has 1 nap for about 1-2hrs...sometimes more if he's really worn out | | | | Status: Offline

| Sean also used to nap 2 hours in the day and now only naps an hour. If he wakes up really early then he will nap a bit longer. He is coping fine with an hour and is still full of energy in the evening. | | | | Status: Offline

| Freya had regular daytime sleeps until she was about 3. After that she had one every now and then for while, but hasn't had one at all for over 6 months.
Sometimes she could really do with it, but she just won't.
Having said that, she did go thru a period one summer (when she was just 2) when she didn't have, or really need, a nap for a few months. | | | | Status: Offline

| My LO who is almost 15 months has decided that naps are for dummies, apparently! He only sleeps 45mins to 1 hr and has done this for about a month. I was hoping it was just a phase but am staring to accept that maybe it isn't my housework is getting very out of hand | | | | Status: Offline

| logans naps differ each day. normally he sleeps 7-7 but then theres times hes up earlier so he naps earlier than normal and for about 2 hrs, if hes had a good nights sleep hel nap about an 30mins-hr just after lunch, but then somedays tired or not he may not nap at all. sometimes he naps for 5 mins. with logan its take each day as it comes lol xx | | | | Status: Offline
