Unexpected start to potty training!

I was going to start potty training our 2 1/2 year old at Christmas but last week my Health Visitor came over and advised that I leave him till new year as he may feel he's being forced to grow up now we have Ozzie.

So I have left him. This morning however I was changing his nappy and he said he wanted to sit on his potty. I let him go over and then I went to make a cuppa as I thought there was no way he'd do anything, I just expected him to play with it for a bit.

Suddenly he was shouting he'd done a poo. I went over and looked and he had!!!. I still can't believe his first attempt and he did it! All day he's had his big boy pants on and the only accidents he's had are due to him not tucking his willy into the potty so when he's sat down and gone it's gone down the front lol. My DH is trying to guide him in the art of poking his willy into the potty

My little boy is growing up

Thats a story I like, you boy is obviously completely ready for potty training.
I think too many people try push there kids into it too early and then its a fight.

Well done little man.
